Connect the HDMI port to your display using an HDMI cable (such as Tripp Lite's P568-Series sold separately). Connects Keyboards Thumb Drives and Other USB Peripherals Three USB-A hub ports accept USB peripherals such as flash drives mice keyboards and printers and provide 5V 2A (10W) of charging power when connected to a PD 3.0-compliant charger. They support fast USB 3.0 data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps (10 times faster than USB 2.0) and are backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. One BC 1.2-compliant port provides up to 5V 1.5A (7.5W) of fast-charging power to mobile devices. PD Charging Port Charges the Connected Chromebook MacBook Pro or Other Device The USB-C 100W Power Delivery (PD) port provides power and charging to the connected PD Charging-compliant device (such as a MacBook Pro Chromebook or Android smartphone). Connect the device's AC wall charger to the USB-C PD port which supports power input up to 20V 5A (100W). That's sufficient wattage to fast-charge sync and power most high-capacity devices including the MacBook Pro. This port can also be used for transferring data. PD 3.0 Fast Role Swap technology ensures all data and power connections remain stable if the wall charger becomes accidentally dislodged. Accesses a Wired Gigabit Ethernet Network The RJ45 port offers access to a Gigabit Ethernet network when Wi-Fi is unavailable or when a wired connection offers faster speeds. Connect using a UTP cable (Tripp Lite N201-Series Cat6 cables sold separately) and enjoy true 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet speeds for fast data transfers.
