Designed to meet specific system requirements it supports most types of smart RFID card standards with 13.56MHz credential technologies including MIFARE Classic® MIFARE Plus® MIFARE DESFire® EV1 and EV2. It includes out-of-the-box support for Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) for secure bidirectional communication. Plus it enables easy and remote device management including new feature upgrades device configuration and security enhancement via Axis access control solutions. Safe and secure AXIS A4020-E Reader is packed with built-in cybersecurity features to prevent unauthorized access and safeguard your system. Secure Channel Protocol (SCP) is supported enabling secure communications and connections. Signed firmware and secure boot guarantee that the firmware hasn't been compromised and ensure only authorized firmware is installed. And if needed secure boot guarantees the reader is completely free of malware even after a factory default.
